Hei Michael! Aw, I missed you!!! <3
Good suggestions from both of you.
I also thought about "Nine Black Poppies", that's a good one. Maybe "Orange Ball of Hate" as well?

Hey lovely people of the forum. It's been a while since I've been on here (read: several years).

Things Fall Apart - Chinua Achebe. This is my first time reading African literature, and thus far I'm really enjoying it.
I just read "Purple Hibiscus" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, it was very good! Also the first African/Nigerian author I've read. She uses a lot of Igbo words in the book, which I love. You should check her out: )

Saw Dinosaur Jr in Barcelona last May, and it was really great. Festival concerts are always pretty loud though.
The loudest concert I've ever been to was Other Sides of Sonic Youth at the Roskilde festival 2005! like this

what flavour is the black ice cream, slowwestvulture?
While going cross-country we had to play a lot of the songs that were mentioning the highways we were currently on, the places we were visiting, etc. ("i'm headed up the 101 right now" haha)
And when the sun came up over Norway that day (well, actually it was in the evening), I saw you going away.

I'd love to hear what you all think. I'm probably going to use a few of these tracks (and some others) on an EP I've been working on. Once that's finished, I'll mail off copies to anyone who wants.
I've listened to these! I've been a fan of your stuff for a while, but these were pretty great! keep em coming. NSAM all year!

when we chewed up baby aspirin like bubble gum,
til our hearts were beating as deep and rich as kettle drums
we knew if we waited long enough the change would come.
and then the day did come and at last
hold tight.

this old thing plus an old Bang&Olufsen tuner/amplifier and a pair of klipsch speakers make my room, that's all I need... ah. I don't have any good place for it all though, I'm still working on that one.

I was just wondering if this is a reference to a song by Gorgoroth or what it means?
John must know this: )
Invocatio ad sathanas?
It's the first "song" on the setlist from the show tMG did in Bergen. I've been wondering about this for quite a while, and so, John or anyone else, would you care to enlighten me?
