it was my package....and i was up there...but a bunch of my friends actually got it to PPH...i yelled his name a couple of times with some polite "excuse me!" and then nearly chickened out. so i guess the answer is, yes. yes it was me. thanks!

thanks! i like it too. seriously, tattoos make me feel less alone in my skin. and remind me of things. super nice to carry the mountain goats and a little bit'a star trek around with me. silly, but no joke.

this is kind of a boring response but, uh, all the damn time. i also make music and if my band would let me, i would seriously consider naming our next albums "songs written while listening more or less exclusively to the mountain goats."

plus, it's sorta extra-cool because it was drawn by a close friend, who i have totally turned on to the mountain goats in the past couple of years. same friend also did another much nerdier tattoo of mine...if you can believe it.

...i'm a lurker, a never-poster. but i've been reading the forums for quite some time, listening to the mountain goats with the sorta fierce & constant-ness of a planet since 2004, and totally just got a weird-o amalgam-of-two-songs mountain goats tattoo. thought i'd share it with all y'all. here's a picture of it from the day after. it looks much nicer now. and less shiny.
