In terms of perhaps under-played I'd love to see Moon Over Goldsboro one day. And I know Chilean Fire Barrel Song is only tiny but I'm here to give it some love.
I saw Moon Over Goldsboro live. On the Heretic Pride tour in Austin. The entire bar/venue was totally silent and his voice cracked in the best places. I think it was followed immediately by Dino Lupatti's Bon

I am working on Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski. It's sort of brutal and is written in a very masculine way but despite that I still feel like I appreciate a lot of it.

Whole Wide World
The first time I heard "No Children" and not only understood it, but really GOT it, I knew it was time to end the relationship I was in. We were fighting all the time but we kept trying again to make things work until I realized that I was listening to No Children and it was making me feel worse and not better.
I'm just curious if anyone else has actually felt the "I hope you d

For me the choice is between vinyl and mp3, and actually buying a record (or a CD, but when the price point is the same and you don't have a CD player there's your choice) is far more personal than downloading a torrent that 200 other people are downloading at once. It's an ownership thing, I think.

I got Sunset Tree a few days ago following the concert (from a friend, I will be ordering it legitimately shortly) and just wanted to say:
Thank you. This is the best record I have ever heard. I think I have to stop listening to it on repeat because I get too emotional every time I listen. And the ending... just makes me want to put it on again anyway. Thanks for making the world a little more

Damn, so I got the in-between show with neither No Children nor Best Ever?
Oh well. Maybe next year.

On The Road
I was so happy to hear The Mess Inside. One of my first favorite TMG songs. Also, the great part about the show was being blown away by the songs I didn't know yet, and immediately going home and listening to them nonstop, like Moon Over Goldsboro (I never really got into Get Lonely before this).

I know, I was the one who requested it. It was recorded a long time ago though so maybe he played it live earlier? Or maybe he could learn it for the next time he comes to Austin so I can die happy?
Just kidding John, it was an amazing show.

Adair. Possibly my favorite TMG song, from the Jack and Faye 7" (There are two more names). I named the main character in the depressed novel I wrote a few years ago after her.

"No Children" on a mixtape in 9th grade. Then: Love Cuts the Strings, There Will Be No Divorce, and a few others I downloaded before buying Tallahassee.

We will recognize each other, see ourselves for the first time, the way we really are.
An astronaut could've seen the hunger in my eyes from space.
In your arms I am a wild creature.
I got all my hopes hung on this one gorgeous promise,
and you got the sunlight dancing in your eyes
