I'm not sure if aCowKickedMe (Colin) will be doing one after the goat adoption debacle of 2010, which makes me sad. I really enjoyed getting to contribute to that and was looking forward to doing it again with a tMG song.....

I think this was coordinated without barring hopes of another, more tmg-themed project that someone may take upon themselves to figure out.

...if they're on the tMG forums in the first place, they should be tMG fans despite the fact that this is a SJ only cover project.

(Although you could argue that some trolls probably aren't, but I don't think the trolls are contributing to this.)

i swear to god, blacky, i dreamed that everyone else could see all your posts, the mods were just so fucking sick of me that they restricted my privileges and would'nt let me see yours.
cuz apparently when someone is very bad, the first thing they take away is your right to blackliner.

You know, I searched for a post in which blackliner told people off for calling him blacky, but either he edited it out or I just imagined it and because I would hate being called that I just imagined he would (but also maybe just it seemed that nicknames imply some sort of intimacy that he never returned to those who called him that). I mean I know it's short but it's boring and sounds kind of bad, haha. Who thought that was a great idea? (From my search, the first use seemed to be Wild Creature, so I guess he is to blame)......I kind of feel like my overthinking/research about this makes me sound like a stalker. Oops.

Anyway, back on topic! I am looking forward to this and hope it comes out soon enough. It's been rolling around here for awhile and I'm curious who's dragging their feet/what songs are missing!

If anyone would still like to sign up it's more than welcome because...well, y'know. It's taking a little while. I wish I could say we're more than halfway there, but unfortunately I can't.

I won't call out who's dragging their feet, but I will say the stuff that Jonty, Eivind, Layla, Shlack, Blackliner, DTrom, and myself have submitted are pretty fucking great. I'm bad at hassling people but I'll send out a group email because I'd love everybody to hear these songs. Maybe it's just the song Jonty got (and not to diss anyone elses submission because they really are all good!) but his is my favorite so far.
