i am very down to do this. i record joyner covers all the time, he's my favorite songwriter. i will admit, room temperature is my LEAST favorite joyner record, but i used to cover Ghettoblaster pretty often when I first got into him. i'm new around here, so i don't know if you folks are pretty strict on covering an entire album, message board seem to like to do that, but i think it would be a much better idea to pick a song from his entire discography, or maybe a more solid album, like Heaven's Gate or Songs For The New Year, or damn Skeleton Blues would be cool, but so very difficult to pull off.

chords are not going to be available for any of these songs, people are just going to have to figure them out. i posted a few chords to songs over at the wee black skelf site, but most joyner songs are not to hard to figure out so long as you play music regularly.

Man I 100% disagree with all this contention over Room Temp, I think it's solid from front to back, and unlike some works I felt it might work better with this forum since it's so much closer to a sound Mountain Goats fans are used to.

Well for this forum at least an album project is completely new.

Just cause I'm trying to weed out those just saying "oh yeah I'm in" but don't even contact with me I'm again requesting email from all those that are serious. I've got about 7 spots filled right now.

I, for one, would love to hear your singing voice. We have plenty of guitar players around here. You could do an e-collaboration like everybody does nowadays, multitracked even. A project within a project.
