Dear mike

May 08, 2012 04:38AM | Dear mike
Hi mike,

I am sorry to say, I could not find Death Poodle Improv, even after looking through the old files on my external hard-drive. My laptop's hard-drive crashed the year we recorded it, and I assume the only copy has now been lost forever.

I know it's not the same, but I wanted to share this with you: http://www.sendspace.com/file/r3ctxf

I think you might appreciate it. I recorded it today with a friend of mine. It's going to be part of a performance for a weird-ass theatre class. The 18 minutes piece is called "An Audio Guide to San Antonio." It will be played in the car as the audience members are driven around San Antonio for 20 minutes until they arrive at a house where the rest of the performances are taking place.

RIP Death Poodle

Will

very, very, very interesting and entertaining. i wondered quite a few times how you guys were not cracking each other up, i have a friend just like that, that we can riff off each other pretty funnily for a crowd. not anymore though. he died in a san antonia tour bus accident.

i've never been to texas, but now i will consider myself having traveled there and having seen everything in texas. not just san antonio, the richest city in the u.s., if not the world...but every single thing in texas that exists, now or otherwise.

keep up the good work!

I lived there for about 14 years. Longest I've lived anywhere. I assume if you are at Trinity now you are quite a bit younger than me, but just for shits, where did you go to high school?

Haha--thanks, mike! Happy to broaden your cultural horizon.

Awesome. Yeah, I just graduated from TU a few weeks ago. I'm 23. I'm not actually from San Antonio originally. I just came here for college in 2008. I'm sticking around though. I'm about to start a Masters of Arts in Teaching program at Trinity.

I went to high school at Brazoswood HS in Lake Jackson, TX.
