from the second effort so far,

song with no title yet, could be called "untitled," a harkening back to syd barrett...have many other "indie" artists titled one of their songs "untitled" lately, or ever?

i also liked the "link" as well as "secret is safe with me."

never heard any like either.

liked the disjunct parts of "edge of the night," very downs-ish big star 3 alex chilton, all that's missing is the basketball and one or two out of tune strings.

i don't know the cover song. actually, i think a better placed cover would be the opener. i was expecting a slow indie version of lou christie's "lightning strikes."

really liked the beginning part of "carry away the years," i wish it had gone on longer. i can see it being a staple of live shows, lasting a longer, longer time. maybe with some acapella "do you feel like i do" by frampton in there for good measure.

i echo a lot of what mike has said. First impressions included the clever use of clear vocals in an otherwise muddy 'Sight Unseen' and also the hip-hop thang you had going on in one of the tracks. Did you sample or were those orginal sounds.

I liked the concept, but i gotta be honest - i don't want to hear someone tuning up at the beginning of a track! Other than that, i enjoyed it smiling smiley

it's his pronunciation of "AY-new" instead of "UH-new" that stuck. the whole line, melody, stuck. in my ear. at the time, i thought it was slightly annoying and almost overlong (which is not something i don't like). but now i understand it was a siren song. the hangman's hanging on my every word. now drop the hammer and in his pants, a turd. don't steal my lines or you're dealin with fines. you'll get a cop on your ass bigger than susan boyle's felines. buoy.

nice job on the earworm.

I prefer to do my interneting in doors, as the elements of the outside world (rain, humidity, etc) could possibly damage my system.

Afternoon...or beforenoon? I personally have to wear an aquatic, seawater filled helmet (with quite the filtration system) so as to accomodate my gills and inability to breath this "air" that you speak of. Does it taste good, this "air"? Gotta make due with what you have, right?

Helps explain my "murky" sound...eh, eh?
