I want to buy it sometime.

I'm not going to watch it though. I feel like that would ruin it, since I don't think it would be nearly as hilarious as I imagine it being. I just want to be able to say I have a copy of Lord of the G-Strings.

Mike, I have a copy of The Coroner's Gambit on vinyl. (All of them are white, there are only 1000)

Unfortunately, I won't be trading as it is my favorite record that I own.

it happens whenever there is a release that generates a lot of buzz. people who are holding on to rare stuff to sell it figure the buzztime on a new release is the best time to get high prices for other items. and they are generally right.

It's my birthday today, so yesterday I was in Best Buy and bought myself Jay-Z's The Blueprint and Radiohead's The King of Limbs (which I still haven't heard yet in any format) on vinyl.

I also just won an eBay auction containing three out-of-print CDs: Nothing for Juice, Protein Source of the Future ... Now!, and Zopilote Machine.

It's definitely my favorite of the cassettes. The only other cassette I've ever bought in my life was of Montreal's False Priest, and that was only because it came with the LP. I'm a little excited. Now I can't wait to add the other four cassettes. smiling smiley

all of the cassettes are amazing. none of the mp3 rips (if you have them...) do any justice.

...a cassette came with the False Priest LP? Whaaaat? I pre-ordered the limited edition red vinyl package from Polyvinyl and I certainly didn't get a cassette! D: was it a show-only thing or something?

Cassette of False Preist was also available...it wasn't free. I follow that band somewhat intensely. Man was I let down by FO and The Controllersphere.

Yeah, I worded that a little wrong. A red cassette was available for purchase, limited to 500. I figured if I had the vinyl, I'd be disappointed in myself if I didn't have the cassette. You can still get it from Polyvinyl.

I still need to get The Controllersphere. In the near future I'm getting that, the of Montreal/Casiokids split, and the Casiokids debut in purple vinyl.

I'm terrible at buying things when they actually come out.

I disliked most of FP and can't stand controllersphere. Too bad. Hissing Fauna will always be one of my favorite records.
