It sounds phenomenal! Satanic Messiah, Moon Colony Bloodbath (ALSO thanks to you!) and Black Pear Tree are some of my favorites to spin, they've got this kind of atmosphere that's perfect for vinyl.

I agree completely. My record collection is nearing 1100 pieces. I really need to invest more in my setup. I've heard lots of good things about the audio karma boards. I just want to save up a little money before I even start looking.

"Instead of a needle, there should be a laser that can read the grooves. That way the records wouldn't get scratched!"

laser turntables were the cutting edge thing in the late 80s, but never really caught on. though they are arguably also the next, next big thing now. [www.audioturntable.com]

Well, I'll be ordering THIS within the week, starting my collection very soon.
I don't have any record at the moment, but my mom has a copy of Led Zeppelin IV, and my buddy's dad has plenty of old Pink Floyd records.
My local record store also has AED and LOTWTC (Which I don't really LOVE) so I'll be picking those up soon. I'm personally pumped to start a collection.
