My band's new record, for free download: [thecolonels.bandcamp.com]

This is a really good album, Peter. Honest, no-frills, American folk-rock.

Hey, thanks. We worked hard on it and are pretty proud of the end result.

Are you saying the actual bass guitar PPH used?

That's exactly what I'm saying.

Just recorded a little summer demo of stuff I've been writing recently. http://staugustinesday.bandcamp.com/album/summer-demonstration

The last song on there, Let Light Perpetual Shine Upon Them, is in some ways one of the most personal songs I've written.

Alright, I have a couple albums that I tried to upload to bandcamp, but my internet connection doesn't seem to want to work with it. So until I figger that one out, I have this myspace that has four songs from each album streaming. It's better than nothing I guess. Enjoy at your leisure.

Good stuff! I always appreciate when someone throws spoken word into music. Brings a great feel you can't get otherwise.

Very catchy! I can definitely sense a tMG influence shining through. Really like the noisiness, too (what exactly is that?). In my opinion you added a perfect amount without overpowering the song.

Pure homemade acoustic goodness. It's really chill but ropes you in and kind of makes you pay attention. I usually find that I get distracted easily while listening to calmer stuff, but this is an exception. Tell me when you work out the bandcamp situation, I'd love to download some!

Hey thanks so much. I basically took thed acoustic guitar and a pickup and just overloaded it through an amp and then routed it to a mixer, so it'd still be overloaded but the overall volume could be controlled. Acoustics I always feel make some great distorition rather than going straight through my electric, it's a little bit more uncontrolled and that's good for noise making.

Sometimes most of the time the band I'm in goofs off instead of actually working on music.
In this jam of one of our old songs, one of our guitarists takes the microphone while I am on melodica duty.

Insanity insures.

I haven't posted on here in a while, but I figured I'd still post this new little EP of mine. It's not really high quality or anything, just some lo-fi demos, but I figured you guys might appreciate it. One of the songs sounds uncomfortably close to early tmg XD
