Layladarling, this is fantastic! I haven't listened to all of it yet, but I just love what I've heard. "Oh, Georgia" has been stuck in my head all day and I can imagine John himself writing a song like "Little Sister." I don't remember the titles of the others I've heard but they're all great and I look forward to listening to the rest!

You're welcome! grinning smiley And school's going really well, though I'm swamped with homework and have a really bad cold which, I have reason to believe, I caught at school, so I will have to delay recording some new songs and starting the Weekend Covers Project even further into the future, which is frustrating. But anyway, you're welcome, and your album is great. I'm listening to "Highway Song (I Almost Died)" right now. Did you overdub the vocals on that one? It's a really neat effect.

yeah they weren't loud enough the first time.
they're not much better the second time.
It feels too... red for me. i liked the original version i did better but whatcha gonna do?
I just recorded this thing in one afternoon and it wasn't supposed to be all that impressive. i had bigger plans for some of the tracks but it didn't work into my schedule that way.

Mtn. Girl- there's plenty where Real People came from, but hopefully we'll have a proper actual video up in the next few weeks. My friend's working on a video for a design project. smiling smiley

I have cobbled together my first album, and bunged it onto bandcamp. Chuck us a few quid if you can, but if not you're welcome to it all for free.

There's even a sneaky bonus track if you download the whole caboodle.

edit: See how I have used comic sans on the album cover. Classy.
