UK Tour 2011

June 02, 2011 02:47AM | Re: UK Tour 2011
If I'd a been thinking hard, I might have been able to swing the Newcastle gig, too — not that inconvenient from Glasgow — but I guess the added expense would rule it out. Glad our friends there got to hear tMG, though.

hey, if anyone is interested, this is the solo set in manchester. the video is a little up the nose at points, but all in all, it's pretty good and the sound is decent.

thx susan.

and mr albatross, it only took 10 years and 2 presidents to find bin-laden. i bet i can do it quicker than that, and with no presidents. one day, you'll be at a pub, or a restaurant, or even in your kitchen or walking down the flowered path of your garden, and you will look down, and there will be a tall, cold pint of beer, calling to you, unnamed and sourceless, and you will have no choice but to drink that beer, after all, it's a beer, and as the delicate amber-colored elixir of the gods touches your lips, the inevitable voice will slither through your head, "i must admit, that yank noob pours a fine ale."

That was beautifully worded WC.

However, may I suggest you do that once again, only this time use vodka. smiling smiley

just find the bird at the bar with the ten foot wingspan, furiously whacking it off into a bottle of guinness flavoured vodka.

also, i'm copyrighting guinness flavored vodka as of this post.

you can't copyright that. you'd have to patent it. didn't we go over this once before? ;-)

my excitement for the barbican show is creeping up so yeah, i'm reminiscing.

I loved these shows, totally forgot about the lack of setlist at Newcastle as well!

Well train and hotel prices came down last night so I'm all booked and have brought it in for £82 plus food / beer / merch. Can't wait now...

The stars are aligning and I may actually be able to make this show. Hope so, and hope to see you fine gentlemen there.

Worry not bm, I met WC & SF at the Manchester show, having already met SF at another Manc gig previously.

The Barbican will only be my second London gig ever after Prince at the O2. I don't often venture down south. As it were.

I look forward to making your acquaintance in April...
