i'm going to the london and manchester shows, and thinking about brighton. it seems to be about 90 minutes outside of London proper. Anyone know if that's about right, and whether there is public transport there? I will be staying by the the Tower of London, and I'm wondering if it would be easy to sneak out of the endless client sessions around 6:30 and get to the show on time?

The support for the tour is Submarines according to the Brud's Twitter. Has anyone heard them?

Yes, you can get to Brighton from Kings Cross in about 90 minutes.
You can book tickets here ahead of time, if you like, and pick them up from the machines at the station. [www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk]

[www.myspace.com] - it sounds like it might be pretty good, summery indie pop niceness. Had better be OK as I'll be seeing em four times in five days...

Fact - this is, pound per mile, the single most expensive train ticket in the UK. Which is why I'm driving and hotelling.
Can anyone else not wait another month for this?

your niece may have a young persons railcard, susan.
Still can't get my tickets for Koko until i've sourced a house to live in when i move. I feel i may have my priorities wrong on this one...

I think she does have a railcard - that must make it easier ...
Where are you looking to move to, B-max?

Being 19, my friends either don't like TMG or have never even heard of them.

haha, I hope so.
I've booked Manchester, cos' I might make a quick visit home for the weekend afterwards. I'll see if any of my mates at University of Manchester fancy meeting up for a quick drink beforehand but if not I guess 'll have to 'meet in the room'. We all love tMG so I can't imagine we won't get on! (especially as I've never met anyone that has heard of them let alone likes them!)
