Does anyone have the setlist for this show? I have this one recorded that I need to edit and break into tracks.

I just told a friend of mine who also recorded it, if you/he upload a zip i'll name the files. But honestly, you can just get most of them via google and themountaingoats.net - shouldn't take too long. Just google a few words.

If/when someone obtains the setlist would you mind posting it for the rest of us? It would be greatly appreciated smiling smiley I'm going to the show in Asheville on April 10th but until then I am trying to live vicariously through people who get to go to the rest of them!

I have a photo of the setlist being tossed into the crowd....if only we could find that person.

The positive. I really enjoyed the vibe at the venue and thought it was an amazing place. Everyone seemed to take comfort in the fact that we can all just chill and enjoy the show. Standing at the encore was a good time but I don't feel like it is necessary for having a good time or enjoying the show. The band sounded great and I think it adds a lot to the show. Some of the older songs sounded great when they were re-worked. Got a chance to purchase some older albums on vinyl and see a pretty awesome opening band.

Onto the not so great and I understand I am not entitled to anything and fully respect the choices the band made. However I guess I want to put my thoughts out there. I am quite bit disappointed that the set list was about 7 songs shorter than every other show on the tour up to this point. I understand every Mountain Goats show is different in terms of song choice but typically they are the same length. My only thought, coming from my experience in booking shows, is that the set time negotiated for York was shorter (perhaps because it is a smaller venue). I would really be bummed if that decision was made because the crowd did not seem "that into it", which is a thought that crossed my mind. It just kind of was upsetting to drive 2 hours to hear 7/19 songs in a set from a new album and have the set last only an hour and 15 minutes total.

That being said, looking forward to seeing them again and having an entirely different experience.

This was my 13th or 14th tMG show and I didn't find it noticeably shorter than any other. I've seen much shorter, and much longer, and I can tell you it rarely has anything to do with the crowd being or not being in to it. It just sorta happens, I guess. That's a bummer it left you with that taste in your mouth. Glad you enjoyed the theater and vibe, regardless.

Also, while the 3/28 Bowery Show was like 27 songs, he breezed through a few. Plus, look at the Richmond set list (missing 1 or 2 songs, I believe)

Dinu Lipatti's Bones
Woke Up New
Dilaudid
Family Happiness
Palmcorder Yanja
You Were Cool
Damn These Vampires
Birth of Serpents
Estate Sale Sign
Beautiful Gas Mask
This Year

Jenny
(Silkworm Cover)

...now, THAT'S short. tongue sticking out smiley

I did enjoy the new songs and listening to them on the album does not do them justice (especially Liza Minelli and Scorpion Squadron). guess I got a bit bummed looking at the DC & Bowery set lists but I guess that is what make the MG so great. You never know and things always change up. It is just so hard not to compare when you see an amazing set list (that goes for any band). However, if he played the same 15 songs every night I think that would bum people out. Overall it was a good experience, and I may hit up Philly in a couple of weeks.

Also got to try the Tapas place in York. The bread and few other of the items were amazing. Check it out if you haven't yet.
