27 hours short of being able to go to both Bowery shows. Damn. Still, turning 21 AT a Mountain Goats show will be about as perfect as can be. And then there's Boston!

I'm kind of confused with the NYC hate, but I'm happy to report that I will be there on both nights. Turns out my boss has an AmEx card and got me tickets for both nights. Score!

Going to the show on the 28th. MEGAFAUN as an opener, I'm as giddy as my three year old just was meeting Winnie The Pooh today. Yeah free internet while on vacation!

Also, bought plane ticket two days before tour was announced, and officially leaving NYC the 28th, approx. 7 hours before the first show.

It's great to see so many people under 21 wanting to see tMG. As much as it sucks now being only a few weeks from being of age, you will see so many great shows just by being so aware of great musicians. You give me such great hope for the musicians who will need such ardent fans just to get their music heard.

WAIT ARE YOU TURNING 21 ON MARCH 30 BECAUSE I AM ALSO.
And I will be at the 3/29 show because like you I cannot go to the one on the 28th.

I'm leaving NYC on 4/2 and today LCD Soundsystem announced their last show ever on 4/3 at MSG. Can't even describe how frustrated I am.


We stayed up for days in the summer on merazine & ephedrine & benadryl, dramamine & ketamine & nyquil, dextromathorpan & hydrobromide, and the light shining in through the window was golden.

Where did you see this? Everywhere I've seen that the 3/29 show is still 18+ and I am still a few months shy of that sad smiley. I have missed out on too many tMG shows because of being under 18. UGH.

Interestingly there has been an update to the KEXP list of upcoming live performances, and tMG are slated for a set on March 29. Haven't heard of any upcoming NYC broadcasts, but this must coincide with something else planned in the area that week? In any case, just a heads up that they'll likely have limited seating/standing for the performance scheduled for 12pm pst/9am est.
