I really want a recording of "Wild Amaranth Growing," or "Pure Sun" as JD later titled it, and "Slimy Rich White Bastards."

Oh, and it's really Extra Glenns, but that 20 min "Badger Song" is on my "to hear before I die" list I made up in my head, along with "Bitchy Christmas" by Lifter Puller. I don't think the latter is ever happening.

Someone I emailed once was kind enough to send me this mp3 of "Tampa". What kind of person would I be to not share? No idea what show it's from, though.

That song is from Bloomington, Indiana 1/30/99 but thank you. What I meant is recordings that aren't live. It's said they don't exist but I'm convinced they do. The version of TCG that I dream of sounds like the singing of an angel who crawled from the blackest pits of hell.

I managed to get a copy of Hot Garden Stomp for about 15 bucks shipped, but it's really the only uncommon thing I have. I did get my brother the Wedding Record for Christmas, I think he and his fiancee are considering Going To Port Washington for their wedding song, so it was a good find.

FFG LP. Someday I'll pony up the $$$ but not for a while. Other than that, I guess just anything I don't already have on vinyl.

Oh, and they should press AHWT on vinyl and then I'll add that.

I was lucky enough to get Sweden on vinyl from the man himself. I was too shy to ask him to sign it though. I would like it signed.

Wow, you guys are real collectors. Am I the only one who doesn't care what colour my music comes in, or whether it's been signed by JD in his own blood?

Edit: not meant to come across as a slur on people's collecting habits, all power to you, I'm just wondering whether this is a feature of most tMG fans or whether this thread has been self-selecting.

I;m not concerned about what color the vinyl is, but if Joh ncould sign in blood, that would be pretty neat. For cloning purposes.

True, or he could at least have given away a non-essential organ with each copy of Moon Colony Bloodbath.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I try to collect the vinyl as best my wallet will allow. But that"s solely a matter of audio quality. Colored vinyl doesn't mean all too much to me, save TLOTWTC, as I would've liked to own a copy of Flux. Now had I planned on selling my record collection some day then I might be a little more concerned with color, numbers, etc. but......yeah, that's just not going to happen* Basically what I'm getting at is that to me vinyl is vinyl.

That said, I would absolutely love to come across a copy of CCTTST.

And one more thing. Is it still "elusive" if it doesn't actually exist? Because I still want a copy of AHWT on vinyl.


*Don't take that as a shot if you do. I know that's not what drives you guys. Just saying that's the only reason why I personally would ever reach that level of collecting.

If there's a recording of "History of the Church" somewhere, I suppose I'd like to hear that.

My collection of TMG that went on ebay when my family hit a wall, Sweeden vinyl, FFG vinyl, CCTTSST, Devil in the shortwave. Jacob gave CCTTSST a good home, buggered if I know where the rest went.

Got a new collection going but cant seem to get my hands on the above mentioned.

White album of tCG would be pretty cool, Zoop 2 would be better.

Would trade it all for live recording of sunset tree tour, brisbane gig.

I'd love to hear an album by the Congress.
