So, question about this song. John pronounces it morRISsey--is that right? I always put the emphasis on the first syllable.

Pretty sure that pronunciation is intentionally wrong.

As a guy from Louisiana, this lyric has always bothered me. It's pretty much just New Orleans/outlying areas where they have above ground cemeteries. Everything else is subterranean. Another lyric that has always bothered me is from Standard Bitter Love Song #1 (and a kid with a shotgun sends a bullet through it). Shotguns don't shoot bullets, they shoot shotgun shells with tiny pellets in them. Maybe I'm just really really fucking anal.
