For some reason I feel acutely aware of the dangers of taking lines out of context to apply them to my situation right now, but I like this thread:

I am losing control of the language again! (on my research project on accents, my essay on bilingualism, being in the final term of my language degree)

Invent your own family, if it comes to that.
Make your own friends when the world's gone cold. (on being lonely and slightly homesick in winter)

Won't take the medication but it's good to have around. (on coming off my medication)
