But I guess when you think about it tMG have many more sad/depressing/lonely/bittersweet songs than happy.

They have plenty of those but it's weird how a tMG lyric can immediately pop into your head when something bad happens. Yesterday, I found out about the death of a friend from the streets. It happened a couple months ago and since I'm no longer living in those places or seeing those people I hadn't found out. This is the third person I've known who has died in the last five months. Hence, the above lyrics. WSABH helped A LOT last nite.

I the same thing happens to me.
Sometimes the lyrics are irrelevent but the emotion is similar.

When I first heard the cover of "Sometimes I Still Feel the Bruise" I projected a bit on the lyrics.

There's the line "when you were not the one in love, when you were not the dreamer, when you were just the dream"

I thought the last line was "when you were just with me" and it kind of kicked me in the stomach a bit. The idea that you were in love with someone you were seeing but they were biding there time for something better and more substantial.

It may seem like an odd choice but:

Those two lines mean more to me than anything these days.
