You bring something irreplaceable to each and every day, or you used to, anyway.

(I'm probably the only one that reads Bluejays and Cardinals as non-mortal loss, and mine's probably not the intended interpretation, but the Peace Corps stole the love of my life, so maybe I see it different. This much Old Crow bourbon and I'm liable to everything different anyhow)
