I was more amused by the fact that every single lyric in here tends to be a sad one. I wasn't knocking anything, more celebrating the fact that tMG fans tend to be a bunch of miserable bastards.

Cool man. I think it has more to do with the fact that JD is a master of the sad song, and if this thread were on the tHS forums we might all be posting about how we currently feel like "Massive Nights" or something.

"Emo" and "Miserable Bastard" are two entirely different concepts. Mountain Goats fans are not emo but are, in general, miserable bastards, in the sense that we are not particularly happy people.
