Hahahaha, you guys are so full of it. If I posted a link to a free download of this album, every goddamn one of you would download it.
I pay for concerts, I've bought plenty of CDs, but I don't pretend I don't download the shit I can't afford. I am also fairly sure that there isn't one of you that doesn't have stolen music on their computer that they don't own the original for.
I apologize for the prosetlyzing I'm about to do, but it's only because I want you to get more enjoyment out of music. Listening to 128 kbps MP3's seriously sucks. Buying vinyl and listening to music on vinyl is like when I switched from store-bought pre-ground pepper to getting a pepper grinder--much better.
I used to download music and I used to scoff at audiophiles that buy things on vinyl because it 'sounds' better. Not anymore. It just has a warmer sound to it, and it just feels more real than a CD because you're actually owning the music itself instead of a digital representation of it. I enjoy the ritual of taking my records out and cleaning them and listening to them with other people.
I feel like tMG really tries to make CD's and LP's that are good to own. I feel like the artwork is pretty nice to have and I appreciate owning it for the music and the artwork of it.
