I thought I read someplace (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong which I well may be: this is just from memory) that of the 1,000 pressed 200 would be green.

either way, GOLDEN

huh. i'm feeling too lazy to dig, but now i'm curious (from a nerd pov, not out of an urge to argue). anybody want to bother to confirm/deny this for me? tongue sticking out smiley

fwiw, I just Googled "moon colony bloodbath green vinyl" and discogs.com says "Recorded and mixed at Modern Recording, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Limited release of 1000; first 200 pressed on green vinyl."

I'm also gonna point out (in the realm of VERY pleasant surprises): although "Surrounded" remains my favorite song on the album (favorite new tMG song in a while, I think), and although I bought the album primarily as a tMG fan, my second favorite song is hands-down a JV song: "Steps Columns Pillars." That is one beautiful fucking song.

Wasn't someone talking about an earlier version of Surrounded earlier? Did John post that to the boards and I missed it? Not the blogspot one spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Actually, my copy of Now, Diabolical by Satyricon is pure gold vinyl. Awesome.

Also, my copy of Deloused in the Comatorium by the Mars Volta is silver (double). Sweet.
