all three mountain goats records were played by me once and once only. the dick was not drawn by john darnielle, but it's famous on this forum for the stink i made about it being on there. you can search for it, it's a pretty funny thread.

i'm the second owner of this dicked up come come to the sunset tree, but i've played it only once and it was clean and pristine.

Oh boy! I could own a piece of tMG forum history! I may take you up on this, but it could take a little while to scrape the funds together to buy another copy. Would you mind holding on to them for a week or so and i can let you know?

Nope sorry, girlfriend has the green MCB, didn't even know it was rare. I was hoping for the swirl BPT but never got one.

Also both SM's are unplayed, one has a little fold in the corner of the thick plastic sleeve that goes around the EP.

I thought that there were still a lot of these things left, like with MCB and CCTTST. I know that John didn't even sell all of the 1000 that he had of come come.

As far as I know JD still has lots of copies of CCTTST but hasn't done art for them...meaning it's anyone's guess as to how many are actually available. Fairly certain the last copy he made was for the Zoop II box...which I'm pretty sure WC won. The number on that one is probably how many have been released. It's also probably my favorite cover I've seen. That roman numeral one is beautiful, too.

I forget Alex's username on here but I'm pretty sure he won the box. Also I got one from the half dozen he did when he left tour sick that one time well after the first release was sold out and my copy is 667 I think.

i don't think the rest of the ccttstrees will be released as a regularly priced record. hundred's of dollars could be gotten for each one. i know what i would do with them. sit on them for retirement!

i bet a darnielle ass-print ccttst would be worth dozens!

you know what he should do, is lay all the rest out on the floor, cover himself with lots of different colors of paint, then roll around on all the covers.

there might be darnielle hairs stuck in the paint that people can then use in dna machines to grow their own darnielle, to sing whatever songs of his you want him to sing, at parties, bar mitzvahs and weddings.

and funerals.
