It is clearly about the abusive relationship in childhood between John and his father.
The Sunset Tree is a very personal, self confessional album. More of an autobiographical deal. When you say that Sweden is a group of songs relating to a theme, that's more how I think of The Sunset Tree. But, I am willing to accept that it is indeed a concept album. Just perhaps a concept album in a more looser sense of the word. Looser than in the case of Sweden, at least.
In regards to the poem. No I did not just search for those words. If you read the thing in it's entirety, big ask I know, you will see themes and images that appear in Sweden repeated over and over. Parrallels of sorts between the two narratives begin to appear.
Yes, there are the silver bell references. (In terms of Neon Orange Glimmer Song, I feel that is very interesting, and important).
There is also the image in the poem of cupid pulling the planets down to pass judgement on Cresseid, which is echoed in 'tahitianambrosia maker.' (''cause I saw the sky coming down to meet you). If you look at that line in the context of the poem, it really casts a diferent, more sinister slat on the song. But that a discussion for another day.
There are countless more images and themes like this that apear in the poem and are echoed in Sweden.
