Oh, I guess I should say. That's my first post. Been a fan for a while, but I guess it never occurred to me to do forums! I had a rockin' time at the Portland show and would love to try a cover for this project, although this isn't one of the songs that I'm particularly great at. smiling smiley

The issue here is that I have, well... no sense of rhythm whatsoever. Not sure how I decided to pick up the guitar... strumming is mainly beyond me.

Acow, man, I think mine is sucking far too much to be in on this one. I just cannot do it to my own high standards. Perhaps if we ever do another one with a song I can actually not loathe the sound of my own voice singing? I just can't do the first part. I can't even hear it any other way but John's.

I just submitted one. Not too much in the way of huge changes but hopefully it's different enough to be a little interesting. Despite my having played guitar for about ten years this is probably the first musical performance I have put out for the scrutiny of people who are not my close personal friends. smiling smiley

I used the free microphone that came with my computer. Probably cost about $2.



Just keep in mind early tMG tape grind. Us kids know that sound quality is not the top priority.

I really enjoy all the tracks thus far. And we're looking at about 10 tracks now... more or less.

YES, acow! I will keep trying. And good point about the tape grind... perhaps the mic turning the piano noise into terrible tinkling isn't that bad. smiling smiley
