Totally off topic here, but is there anyone offended by the use of "dick" as an insult? Personally, I usually opt for the gender-neutral "asshole" instead, but I can see why people are okay about it because it doesn't really carry the same oppressive weight that something like "pussy" does.*

*Not to equivalize genitals with gender, but insults like these are usually meant as gendered.

I'm not offended by almost anything. I often use "dick" in reference to shitty female type people and call lots of people of several genders "dude".

I agree, unless I'm misunderstanding? I don't stop to consider someone's gender and/or genitals or even personhood before describing them as a dick, cock, pussy or cunt - and especially on the internet, would you even know?
Don't think I've ever called anyone a pussy though because it's aesthetically unpleasing, as a word - it also conjures up images of sleazeballs dribbling it out as an insult, but I wouldn't use it to describe a cat either. Maybe it's the sorta plosive + sibilance I can't handle because I can't stand the word plimsolls, either.
Since simonf's said so - I also dude, guys or oh man anyone, too.
