Just want to let you know that we're aware of the issue that people are getting redirected to suspicious sites when visiting here. I've discovered the malicious code and am working with our web host on removing it ASAP.

Update: We should be clean. Let me know (post here I guess) if it happens again, and on which pages. Thanks!

I thought it was my computer until I had the same problem with my work computer. Glad it's being fixed!

The site is working now but a lot of things that are underlined in red under posts lead you to spam and other such suspicious sites.

Can you elaborate? I'm not sure what you mean. On which page(s)?

Maybe she just means the spam posts with the links in those?

Eidyia that sounds more like spyware on your comp. than something on the site. I've had it before. Suddenly words that shouldn't be hyperlinked start getting hyperlinked and lead to spam. Maybe run an anti-virus or anti-spyware check?

FYI, apparently the redirect site also installed some spyware on your computer. I got this email from work today and then the tech people came by and completely wiped my hard drive and had to re install everything.

Hmm, strange. It's gone now. For a day or two, it was happening but just on this site. Ah well, fixed now

From what I'm seeing around the internet, this is possibly a WordPress exploit, and it's hitting a LOT of people. So, be on guard, and check your servers (especially your .php files)!

basically none of the archive links work for me from the main mountain-goats dot com homepage. for instance if i try to click through to the permalink for the top news entry [www.mountain-goats.com] i get the following page
