HEY, JOHN WON'T READ THIS THREAD thumbs down (forum covers project)

We Have No House is also a great one from the liner notes.

I think someone should just make an autocratic decision from the best line from the liner notes, and stick with it. Ya'll dig?

I'm with Alex on this one. And I still like "There Are No Windows and Something's On Fire or Something Like That It's An Album Title" though "West Texas Shortwave" works well for me too.

I'm not a contributor to this project but I really like the title "Stay wherever the hell you are" especially since it's the follow-up to the going to project.

I've got big plans.Talking BlanketYay, Butts! LOL!

That's a good idea..

By the way! If people end up dropping out and we need spots filled I'd love to on a whim collaborate with one of y'all in helping complete the album.

Okay, let's do things this way. Everybody seems amenable to something from the AHWT liner notes, so let's narrow it down to these three:

1. There are no windows or doors and the walls are on fire
2. Stay wherever the hell you are
3. We have no house

Post what your preference is (1, 2, or 3) and we'll go with one of those.

Since I can't find a three-sided object to flip/roll, I'll go with #2.

Followed closely by 1 & 3.
March 23, 2012 03:12PM | Re: HEY, JOHN WON'T READ THIS THREAD thumbs down (forum covers project)
I take #2.

If we're just talking out of those I'd take #2

Truth be told, I still like #1 the best...

1.

and i still need to get my cover done. i've not forgotten; i'm just:

1. preoccupied.
2. drinking.
3. lazy.
4. struggling.
5. reading.

i was sold on the first title initially, but #2 is really great too. i'm gonna bow out and not cast favoritism either way; let the poll decide.

1 has my vote

recorded!

i think. fuck it. it's good enough for me and i've just detuned my guitar to play nick drake songs, so i won't be retuning it anytime soon for another take!

say, if i export lossless files from audacity it creates a 31mb WAV file. I, er, can't send that to anyone.

If i send you the audacity file, will you be able to export it from there?

Upload the file to sendspace.com, the Audacity file is going to be much bigger in size anyway.

You can convert the wav file to flac before uploading, too. It will still be lossless, but a lot smaller than the wav.

my vote goes to name #1

Also, I have no classes this week and thus only work to go to, so I will have lots of time to hopefully finish up my cover.
