would it make sense to get a thread started of confirmed attendees so we could coordinate, I can't put anyone up but I'd gladly drive some people up from nyc to help save on gas consumption, also depending on the amont of people maybe workout who should bring what.......or am i being way to kumbaya and we should just show up and take care of ourselves??

i should be coming up from houston, but i don't know any details yet. gotta see what some of the crew thinks about it.

I am here in Charleston SC and saw 4 shows back on the Tallahassee tour but attendance has been sporadic since but my undying faithfulness has not. I have brought my daughter (7 years old) to two shows, one in Asheville and the other at the Art Garage in Columbia so I would definitely bring her along. I think a wonderful train ride to NY or wherever would prove an excellent vacation for us. Would be more than happy to donate whatever funds I could help with. I know of at least 5 others off hand that would make the trek with us. Life is for the living and this would be the kind of experience that makes one feel truly alive. Damn the other festivals that might interfere, they are annual and this may be once in a life time. I will keep an eye out and hope for the best!

I'd like to make sure we get a quality recording of this whole thing. It'd be a shame not to.

I don't suppose you would be able to tell us what part of upstate New york it is going be in John?

I'm hoping to come over from England and just New York State seems tremendously big. It would be easier to formulate some kind of plan if i knew what area it will be in.

edit: Unless I decide to stay with family in western PA. I hope we find out where in upstate this thing is soon

I too would really appreciate being able to bum a ride from NYC; I'll bring gas money and mixtapes and stuff.

Well, I'm glad there's a confirmed date. I just wish that it had been later so I had more time to save up money. Well, me and probably 4 or 5 friends will be making the trip from Michigan. What's this about finding places to stay? Wasn't the plan to camp on-site?

I have two seats in the back of my car that I am willing to give up. Is anyone else driving up from nyc? I have a lot of cargo room so I could take up some peoples gear if it opens up seats in their car for more passengers.
