Throwin' it down for July here. I was planning to spend time this summer with my friend Chuck who happens to live in upstate New York, and it'd be wonderful if both events somehow coincided.

I say July, since taking off right at the beginning of the semester probably isn't a good call (I live in Canada). Although I'll try to go regardless of when it is.

I would be willing to up and quit my job for an opportunity such as this. truly astounds me as an amazing event that would, undoubtedly, be once in a life time and a tid-bit of hard times to follow certainly would sheerly farse to match the good to come of this trip.

I'll put my entire pot in on this bet. Upstate NY? WHO CARES MAKE IT THE MOON JOHN! ILL BE THERE!!

I'm seeing some sort of contract, where we sign away our rights to our image while there in favour of John making some sort of reality TV show, a la "The Bachelor". But music based.

Maybe it can be called Flavor of Goat?

I'm really uncomfortable with people using words like "exclusive" to describe this, the connotations are icky - it's no more "exclusive" an idea than, say, throwing a party: are you an elitist if you don't invite the whole world? I say no

also it won't be once-in-a-lifetime, if it works out nicely I'll wanna do it again - I've seriously had this idea for years, it's just been hard to find time to start putting it together

Remind me when it comes time & I'm good for it. This thing is about two things: showing the love I really have for you-all, and the charity. If I can make you happy & raise money for these people I'm a happy man.
