nall now has two block-out dates, I am roffling

this is getting pretty close to confirmed. It'll probably be late September or mid-July. I'm guessing solo sets owing to the location, we'll see. Stay tuned.

Late September! Late September!

(Don't hate me.)
April 03, 2007 02:22PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
I also vote for late September.
April 03, 2007 02:22PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
I'm pulling for mid-July. If I can make it, I've got a better chance then. Around September, it's gonna kill me to take time off.
April 03, 2007 02:29PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
Hmm. both will work for me. I'll be back east for a wedding in July anyway, but upstate NY is really beautiful at the end of Sept. July is nasty hot and humid.

Not to mention the multitude of festivals in July. Montreal's Just For Laughs, Pitchfork, others that aren't coming to mind right now but are instead shadowy figures on the horizon...
April 04, 2007 08:12AM | Re: Question from John for MG People
Any mountain goats fan diehard enough would gladly skip any of those festivals. smiling smiley

YES!

Although I'm so about something like this that I would most likely say 'fuck it' to any outstanding obligations...

I really don't know how I'm going to afford a plane ticket to this thing. What's the going price for kidneys?
April 04, 2007 09:01PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
Well, in the states it's a whopping $0.00! I'm unfamiliar with Australian law though so, good luck.
April 04, 2007 09:21PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
Oh, sure if I try to sell it legally it's worth nothing. But I think the goats are worth a little black market trafficing, don't you?
April 04, 2007 10:35PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
I don't care. I'll be there either way, to think I won't is just silly.
April 05, 2007 01:16PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
This would be quite possibly the best ever.
Especially in mid-July. I'm pulling for the students too, ha.
April 05, 2007 01:22PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
I'm a student too, don't get me wrong... But if this is over a weekend, you'd barely miss any class (if at all). Seriously, you can shotgun-drive with a couple of friends from as far as L.A. to New York in under 2 days.

Plus workloads are remarkably light in September!

Perhaps, rather than selling your kidney, you should start training really hard with the swimming. Also, get a pet giant sea turtle.

You can blow hard into your mighty conch shell to assemble the creatures of the deep!

It'll be totally sweet!
April 05, 2007 05:41PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
Another vote for September. School shouldn't be too hard to take off from, and I bet the weather will be beautiful.
April 07, 2007 05:42PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
Late September would be glorious, it would be a time around my birthday, and what better way to spend a birthday than with tMG?
April 07, 2007 06:41PM | Re: Question from John for MG People
