Nope, that would be Jon Nall. I'm just the dude who went to music school and likes transcribing songs.
Here's "Dogs of Clinic 17": [www.themountaingoats.net]
I know the tab can look a little overwhelming at first glance, but it seemed to make the most sense to list all the electric riffs first. Let me know if this is confusing and I'll try to clarify.

Can anyone tab Omega Blaster? That would be sooo great.
This is gonna sound sad, but I only started heavily listening to pre-AHWT stuff about a couple weeks ago after I'd seen them in Nashville, Atlanta and Asheville. I wanted to find a bunch of the older tunes he'd played and dug this one out because I want to cover Minnesota at one of my first solo shows.Quote

love that tab of chinese house flowers. thanks so much. FFG was my first tMG album. and that song was my favourite for a long time.
Man, those 7th chords eluded me the longest. I had so many variations of what it could've been in my head for a while and then after I resolved to the correct E7 area I realized what the F was in the verse. I face palmed myself so hard after I figured that out.Quote

Great work on this, though. I've been trying to figure that one out myself on and off for a while, and your post helped me put together the pieces I was missing (for some reason I had trouble hearing the voicing of those 7th chords).

I'll be honest and say I really don't hear the D/A in the verse when I play it against the recording but it sounds good nonetheless. Thanks for the notes.
Yeah I can hear it now after going by those top two strings. Thanks for that. I'll start breaking it down note by note from now on when I transcribe. It'll be training anyway.Quote

You can also hear the high strings changing in the beginning of the song, before he starts singing.

intro: D G
D F#m Bm G
lob some spit at the window

watch it drop down the pane

it's only the guilty who concern themselves
Asus A
with clearing their names
D F#m Bm G
you bring tidings of hope, false tidings

when you come here
F#m Bm G
there's two friends who did me wrong that you're protecting
Asus A
it's so clear

and when you speak it's those two who speak through you

who'll speak for me
G A D
the burning and the electricity
sun goes down San Francisco
friends are hard to find
chew them up just as quick as I can find them
try to clear my mind
remember hours at the table
gauze flight light easing through
if there's one thing that I'm not going to do tonight
it's die for you
'cause when you speak it's those two who speak through you
who'll speak for me
the burning and the electricity
