I'm pretty sure this is one of those songs no one knows how to play. If I remember correctly, it was in some weird tuning that is now lost to the sand of time, and not even John knows.

If you stumble across anything that sounds remotely similar, let us know, but I've pretty much lost hope on figuring out how to play it.

the musicians on the board should invent new chords for the words and we'll see what works best.

c'mon, it'll be fun. i'll even try it.

I'll do what I can to crack it... and by that I mean, show it to my keyboardist friend who has perfect pitch. That's the best I can hope for.

The things that you've got coming will do things that you're afraid to

The Chords for the Cow song would be great, people talked about it but then never tabbed it.

Bluejays and Cardinals was attempted a while back.
It's been kind of a long time since I've put on some tMg so I'm gonna give it a go.

Edit: done, i think it sounds decent.

I know "Original Air-Blue Gown". Turning it into tabs as we speak.

It's up, and I'm pretty sure it's note-for-note too. Hope it helps.

damn that's the most detailed tMG tab i've ever seen. thanks man.

and now i'm gonna bother the hive mind again to ask if anyone knows orange ball of pain.

Thanks Mike. I'm glad you appreciate it. I would've felt guilty if I just put up some version of the main riff and said "the rest of the song is variations on this". I remember when I first started playing guitar and I wanted to learn songs, I would see things like that in tabs and it would bug the hell out of me because I wanted to know what they were actually playing, not an approximate idea.

Having said that, I'm sure John never played "Original Air-Blue Gown" exactly the same way twice, but I wanted to transcribe what's on the record.

I'll try and post "Orange Ball of Pain" tomorrow afternoon or evening. I know it, I just have to type it out.

"Orange Ball of Pain" is up. Hope it makes sense, I only had about 15 minutes to write it down.

I also corrected Deianara Crush while I was there. (It should be E major instead of the E minor chord that was posted.)

This Cow song is basically F# E B F# for the verse; then for the chorus F# B E F#...
What do ya think?

Song For My Stepfather

and I'd like to re-iterate my request for 'Insurnace Fraud'.

Yeah.

Don't forget to dial 38 on your tone bank and use rhythm 'pops 1.'

:)

EDIT: Not in reference to the stepfather song.
