Sooo...with AED and ASP coming out soon (very, very soon) I figured we could pull together and help each other out. It'd be nice to keep this thread to AED and ASP wants only. If you already have a tape don't be a butthead. If you really want a second copy, pay eBay prices. If you get, say, a blue vinyl and you don't care particularly about the color...there are completists. I'll try to update this post often with a list of everyone looking for specific things related to AED and ASP. I have it on pretty good authority that I'll be able to get at least two extra cassettes. They're going to people on here...not eBay. Post what you're looking for and let's get each other's backs!

With the caveat that I'm in Ireland re: Postage & Packaging (NOT&P, damn smilies), I'm in the grey area regarding ASP. I haven't checked with Merge if I'm in or out (the folks closest to me either side in the numerical order sequence are, respectively, in and out), but that's all I'm after. Don't need coloured, so if I get blue or clear but w/o ASP, I will trade (unplayed, guaranteed) for black with ASP. If I get blue or clear w/ASP, I will sell for cost (vinyl + p&p, ex-ASP) and replace it with a Tomlab black bought here.

Nothing like the anticipation, eh?

(JohnP, if you get a blue but not an ASP, I don't think trading a blue for a black and ASP would be a good deal for you. There are a 1,000 ASP's -- you'll get one eventually. Blue has much more inherent value w/only 200 copies, ASP not so much -- LOTWTC purp's go for like US30.00 on Ebay right now, and there were only 777 of them).

WC-blue is /120. Clear is /880. Black is /3000. And yeah...ASP cassette is /1000.

Edit: while I think this thread should be about helping out fellow tMG superfans I'm glad WC brought up scarcity. If you get a blue and decide it's better to eBay it...go for it. No one wants anyone feeling ripped off. I'm gonna do what I can and avoid eBay. That's just me...doesn't have to be the sane for any of you. Having said that...if I miraculously end up with an extra blue I'll be taking WC up on his trade offer.

Cheers WC, but I'm a mere collector, not a completist (i.e. I have everything, but not all colours or formats) and would be happy to scratch that itch for someone else. ASP is the grail for me and I'm presuming whoever gets the blues/clears via this topic/page won't be selling on.

I would love an ASP tape but don't have much to offer in exchange. Would pay money for one although I am in the UK.

Shipping ASP cassette overseas will cost less than ten dollars. I'm pretty sure if we all pull together every forum member that wants a copy can get one...regardless of location. I'll add your name to the first post when I get home!

I really like this thread! This was a wonderful idea.

I'm not worried about the color of my vinyl so if I get a colored one I'll make sure to let you guys know. Same goes with the cassette.

Thanks. I thought I had seen something that led me to question this, but it may have just been references to LPs, which I know some people tend to use when referring to vinyl. If that's the case (and it appears to be - looking back I see a mention of "CD or LP" preorders), I'll probably be getting a tape that I'd be willing to give to a good home at some point. I really want to hear the demos and see the physical tape/artwork, but I'm not a collector and I know there are people on here who would enjoy having it much more.

And as to vinyl/vinyls, I think there was some debate somewhere else on the boards about this recently. I'm going claim that's just how I say it, but in reality I'm with you.

I'd be willing to trade a copy of the TLOWTC DVD for a colored or clear vinyl, though I have no idea if anyone's still seeking one of those

Initial post updated to include everyone that's posted so far. I'll do my best to update it twice a day.

Also (I'm sure the completists have already dome this math...) but the breakdown of the vinyl colors is 75% black, 22% clear, 3% blue.

I'd kill for an ASP cassette. I'd be willing to trade, buy or do both for a copy.

I don't have anything to trade, but I'm willing to pay for the cassette and both special vinyl colors. Good thread idea, guy!
