so i got an e-mail from WFMU today saying they missed me because I have donated in the past but haven't recently. Is it poor form for me to write back and say, hey maybe i'd donate again if you sent me my GG Allin comp?

and on that point, has everybody but me received their comp yet?

I'll reiterate what I've said in the past: the Best Show premium (incl. the Rated GG 7" ) is not done and therefore has not been sent to anybody. The previous year's Best Show premium took more than a year to put together and ship out, so I'd expect that you'd have it some time this summer or fall. Not saying that you knew that when you signed on board, or that it's cool, but just so everybody's aware that nobody has this and why.

The 2011 Premium is pretty much done. The singles are pressed and are being assembled. The download code was just digitized. The posters are done. The shirts are done. The buttons are done. They will be put together and mailed out to everybody who pledged in the next few weeks, I would think. Thank you for your patience with it - a couple of the tracks for the single took longer to be finished. But trust me - it's going to be worth the wait!

Yeah; it seems like just yesterday that he passed on after that last performance at that opera house. At least he was relaxing in the home of friends when it happened.

Joe M (whose email ccsparks posted earlier in the thread) informed me that, had you missed out on the 2011, Rated G.G. package, it is still possible to get said premium. Go to the "Donate Now" button on the WFMU site, select the DJ premium pledge, select Tom's premium, and, in the note section of the checkout, simply write that you would prefer the 2011 premium instead of the 2012 one. Not sure how many of the records they have left, though.

A great 7", packed with good stuff from F'ed Up, T Leo, Ben Gibbard, Ty Segall in addition to the awesome Plead Me To A Lesser Charge (the title sounds like a offcut from We Shall All Be Healed) from tMG featuring The Legal Junkies (Jon 'Merle' Wurster and Mac 'I Forget His GG Allin name' Merge).

This and the Jawbreaker cover make me think - are we due a punk tMG record?
