Dude. If it's anything like the exhilaration of spontaneous ascension, I will love it. Not that I've heard that much of your stuff, but I remember that one being good in particular.

I just hope that the emails suggesting songs are still in someone's inbox or there's a list of who suggested what out there, because I'm only KIND of sure which one it was I put in. I really liked the blurbs on each song from both sides the last time around.

This time we also had a limited pool of songs to choose from, and I think I recall not getting my first choice since someone else had already chosen it. So I'd suggest something else than information on "why you chose this cover", as in several cases the answer will be "because the others I wanted to choose had already been chosen".

sorry, i have not disappeared and have been receiving your songs, keep 'em coming. end of the month should be a good deadline (i still have to take care of mine, lol) and yes, we definitely would like to do a website, the last one was great! will post tomorrow with a checklist of who i'm still waiting for and i'll fire off a couple e-mails to people who've posted since my last post here..

I completely agree. I was thinking it would contain a couple of simple things:

Name of Song:
Name of performer/band:
Place you wish you were going to:
What was it like recording this song:
What did you learn from this song?:


This is just a list I thought of off the top of my head. What do y'all think? Any other questions or questions you'd want to strike?

hey everyone,

i've sifted through my e-mail inbox and the junk folder and i've got these peoples' songs so far:
j8274, tkpeters, jamison, el nombre, nils, evileivind, and uke & duet.

everyone else, i'm still waiting on, so if you sent me yours and you're not listed here, please e-mail me (or post here if you try and e-mail me again and i don't respond).

nigel, i'll send out a mass e-mail to everyone about the questions, as i want to e-mail everyone as a whole anyway - i know there's probably some people who may have put it off, forgotten, etc etc so i needed to make contact anyway.

i will update the above list of confirmed song receipts as they come in.

if anyone else has any questions or comments for me directly, best bet is to e-mail because it's been a little bit crazy 'round these parts and i haven't been checking forums as often as i should.
