hey everyone,

i've sifted through my e-mail inbox and the junk folder and i've got these peoples' songs so far:
j8274, tkpeters, jamison, el nombre, nils, evileivind, and uke & duet.

everyone else, i'm still waiting on, so if you sent me yours and you're not listed here, please e-mail me (or post here if you try and e-mail me again and i don't respond).

nigel, i'll send out a mass e-mail to everyone about the questions, as i want to e-mail everyone as a whole anyway - i know there's probably some people who may have put it off, forgotten, etc etc so i needed to make contact anyway.

i will update the above list of confirmed song receipts as they come in.

if anyone else has any questions or comments for me directly, best bet is to e-mail because it's been a little bit crazy 'round these parts and i haven't been checking forums as often as i should.

Song sent! I'm excited to hear what the rest of yall came up with, and quite a bit happier with how the process and outcome of my recording went this time around. I felt like last time I could have done a better job, and I think that's happened now.

Not an awful lot. Felt like the best thing to do was limit it to single lines for the single linular(?) questions, and a short paragraph for the more interesting ones.

My song is pretty much finished, I just need to put vocals. And if I can get until Friday, I can possibly try and record Cecilia (the girl that sang on that last song I did) with a decent condenser. I'm personally very intrigued to see how she sounds on it. But right now, I haven't slept in over 24 hours. It's been a really hectic two months. i really feel bad and kind of like a slacker even though I put a fair amount of effort into it. But now I have to sleep. Hopefully I can get them laid down in the morning.

Some people have sent in just one sentence per question and others have sent in whole paragraphs. It really doesn't matter... but if you have something you want to say, by all means, don't be afraid to write it all down.

Finished! Well, kind of. I'm still tweaking some levels, but I'm finally pretty happy with the recording. I'll send in the song and writeup tonight or tomorrow.

HELLO ALL... extremely sorry for my absence. the month of January DESTROYED my face. I lost my lady friend kind of thing... Had a bunch of testing and such for my new career and lost my grandmother in a house fire last week.... PLUS black ops double XP weekend! I think I' okay for a bit tho, I'm gonna complete my song tonight or tomorrow. the music has been done, just need a vocal track. So again, very sorry and I hope to be completely very soon!!!

So, so sorry I dropped off the face of the earth, folks... feeling really awful about it. Not much of an excuse, but I didn't have a mic back home and fell right into classes starting when I got back to Providence - much more all-consuming than I expected. But barring the end of the world, I'm going to knock it out Wednesday on my offday from seminars. Hope y'all can forgive me, anyway! And Nigel, I'll email you as soon as I get wrapped on the track; feels weird to do it the other way around. (Also, thinking of you, Blankwave - keep yr chin up!)
