Thank you! The guitar's an Epiphone Performer ME. I wish it didn't have the same name as a disease, but I do hope that somewhere out there there's a Gibson called the MRSA.

I think to call what I'm using a 'setup' would be to flatter it immensely. I just use iMovie and the built in camera / mic on my macbook. It does the job well enough, I think.

How cool would it be to have Mountain Goats covers (like a bed sheets and a comforter)? Probably not of John--that would feel a bit on the creepy side, but of actual mountain goats. AND it could say "Mountain Goats."

also posted in tab thread, because it was relevant, but i may as well live here also:

regarding Outer Scorpion Squadron i've tried to get some kind of guitar structure to it with the chords above and it works ok. There's a few changes from C up top to C open and it works ok, but the piano shows more range and Yuval's little flicks here and there make this pretty hard to fill out solo.

I think it needs more work, and i'm open to ideas but this is it so far: [soundcloud.com]
