Coming at the end of a bad day (yesterday), I decided I'd record a couple covers, because it usually puts me in a better mood. The first was "Sister I'm a Poet" by Morrissey and the second was "Baboon." It took a little while to get "Baboon," but I'm happy with how it turned out.

I know it's cliche to think of Morrissey and the Smiths as a band that gets one through high school, but this is one of those songs that encapsulates the feeling of being somewhere where few people understand you (i.e. high school) perfectly. I also think this is definitely like something John would write. It has that sort of feeling.
