I don't know about you guys, but all the radio silence from JD and crew - and I'm not even complaining about John's forum activity - is making me damned curious about what's being worked on.

Fingers crossed for a main page update/groundhog surfacing! I got ants in my pants and I need to dance!

I would think people are spending some nice relaxing days at home after a long-ass touring schedule so far this year. Not sure it's the sign of buzzing activity you're looking for, but I like the optimism thumbs down

I was thinking the same Dan! It's been 10 months since the last time we had some new music. Although there has been the DVD and tours of course. JD is normally good at keeping stuff low key, so who knows what he's got lined up next. Anyone hear any tidbits about new stuff in the last tour?

Hey, don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining about lack of music, and I'm not complaining about John relaxing! I'm just itching for a check-in as to what he's been up to, what's been kicking around in his head, etc.

Am I the only one biting my nails over the Extra Len(n)s record? I can't see them sitting on it for too long after wrapping (I hope!), so it strikes me as more than likely it'll be the next big news.

Whoa. If banter hadn't identified "Minor Joan Crawford Vehicle" as recorded with Franklin, I'd start to wonder if there isn't a trend here - Hollywood starlet-inspired concept record, anyone?
