This is a motel that I think used to be a Travelodge on Holt Boulevard. It's just on the other side of White, but not between Garey and White.

I ended up timing my flight from Seattle back to school in Providence to coincide with the show; I can never get a direct flight to PVD anyway, so why not make a targeted stop? Other than a hotel to stash my copious luggage, the price ended up being pretty comparable. It was my first time in North Carolina, too, although I've since been back for a weekend. Really lovely place.
