Covers of tMG songs by other bands How do people feel about covers of The Mountain Goats tracks by other bands? I ask because there were a few Mountain Goats songs that I heard as covers before I heard the original, so it was a happy little surprise when I discovered the original artist. My favorites are probably the Atom & His Package cover of Going to Georgia and Ben Gibbard's Palmcorder Yajna. I like how sincere Ben Gibbard sounds and how frantic the synth is on Atom's versions. Herman Düne have done Neon Orange Glimmer Song. There's a link to a live clip, but I've not heard it in full.
