i'll echo those sentiments about Idylls.... it has that lovely lilting 'Casiontone for the Painfully Alone'/'Advance Base' feeling to it, of which i'm pretty fond.

it also made me realise two thngs about the song:
1. it's a really nice little melody;

No, it didn't, unfortunately. That was just me making a joke. And thank you! Yup, the distortion is all natural, all organic, made by plugging my Casio SA-35 into the microphone input on my computer and having the volume set too high. Plus some added reverb in Audacity.
