November 17, 2005 Myspace

Just so y'all know, the person calling himself "johndarnielle" over there at Myspace isn't actually me. I don't rock the Myspace, though they're fine by me; I figure there's enough of me on the web as it is without a Myspace page further gumming up the works.

I bear this dude no particular ill will or anything, it's actually somewhat flattering - if disorienting - to have an outright imposter crop up. But somebody sent me a link to the page and I saw that there were a whole bunch of comments addressing me personally & felt kinda bad - as is generally known, I answer my email pretty promptly, and as is known by them that know me personally, the last time I was 5'6" was when I was thirteen years old.
