October 12, 2005 Dear Young People of Kalamazoo
The show on Saturday is not 21-and-over! I just assumed it was, 'cause it's, y'know, at a brewery! But it's 18-and-over, and if you're under 18 and have a guardian with you, then you're still good to go! Because in Kalamazoo, they roll like that!

In case you haven't seen the "This Year" video, we hear they'll be showing it this Sunday night on MTV2's Subterranean. Watch if you're able! Is it saying "set your VCR"? charmingly anachronistic yet? We're pretty sure we saw a memo on that, but the desk is a mess.

Midwesterners hungry for totally excellent music please take note: Bellafea will be joining the tour for our two Chicago dates and the Kalamazoo show. They're a duo from North Carolina who're presently one of my favorite bands working, and I'm really honored that they'll be able to join us for these three nights.
